Being a rurally focused business, our team has strong ties to the land and have been servicing local landholders for decades. We have the skills, technology and equipment to satisfy some of the biggest jobs in agricultural construction and maintenance, whether that be irrigation infrastructure, field levelling, feedlot construction, dams, roads, pipelines, tank farms, we have it covered and we’ve done it before.

Rocky is a master craftsman when it comes to culverts, pipelaying, channels and waterway structures. His experience with both state water and local irrigators goes all the way back to the late 80’s and in his own words, there’s barely a culvert, pipe, weir or regulator within 100km of Bal that he hasn’t had to install, maintain or replace at some point.

Over the past decade Potter Excavations has had the opportunity to work closely with some of the largest mining operators in Western NSW. Our team has delivered rehabilitation works at Snapper, Ginko and Crayfish mines, returning the land to its original condition upon the completion of mining activities.

Potter Excavations has been involved in one of Australia’s largest transmission line upgrades Project Energy Connect, as well as providing assistance in the construction of the new Limondale Solar Far BESS. We are excited to see the new prospects this industry brings to our region and can’t wait to be further involved in its growth.

Potter Excavations played pivotal roles in the construction and establishment of Atlas Mine for Tronox as well as the T3 Mine Site for Iluka, throughout these projects we’ve built a strong understanding of building laydown areas, car parks, infrastructure pads, haul roads, storage dams and airstrips for mining specifications.

As a community focused business, the team has always held a strong relationship with the local shire. We are always pleased to be involved in works that directly give back to the community, whether that be by maintaining existing assets, or through the construction of new ones, like the local Motorcycle track, extended levee banks, upgrading the BFC oval or grading local roads.

We’ve supplied our wet hire services to the likes of Symal, Abergeldie, Comdain, Ertech and many others. With over 100 pieces of gear in the businesses fleet and a team of operators who love nothing more than moving dirt we are always ready to help out.
